Michele Carloni is a freelance illustrator who likes to do a little bit of everything using a wide variety of techniques and media. His propensity for humoristic illustrations and children’s books does not prevent him from exploring different areas of the graphic world and creating images in other dimensions. He considers traditional media like pencil, ink, watercolour and oil the most effective to visualise fantasies, but keeps on exploring and experimenting with the ever-changing world of graphic software, which combined with traditional techniques can give exceptional results. Primarily an autodidact, Michele has attended Art training courses at various academies and graphic institutes over the years. He lives in Berlin, his real residence anyway is within his fantasy world where he spends most of the time dabbling on blank canvas.
